| Bio: | It was a Raymond Chandler day, thick and heavy with rain. The man stood in the office doorway, coat slick with water, a wide brimmed hat hiding his eyes. Light from the street snuck in past the raindrops on the window and slid across the side of his face, headlights from passing cars occasionally chasing shadows across his cheekbones. He was big - taller than me, and broader. He towered over me as I reclined in the cracked leather office chair. Without saying a word he reached into his pocket and withdrew a red compact digital camera. It was waterproof I noted - this guy was a pro. I cautiously reached under the desk and chambered a flash card in the 30D. My hand fell into its familiar place on the rubber grip. Sure - the man was ready. But I would be faster. | ||
